First of all....never be fooled by Jenna of About Astro on the web....she's a con woman/man/team of criminals. 'She' pretends to be in the USA but when, sadly, my credit card got debited, 'she' appears to be in France and took it out in Euros to get more money. Check out www.aboutastro.com - and then don't do anything about it. Look at google and check Jenna, About Astro and see how many people have written in to complain of the scam (under ripoff.com and consumer sites too).
Sadly, after many weeks of thinking about it, I sent off for her 2 page FREE (that's the first catch....nature is free - astrology websites never are!) report. It amused me. Some aggressive marketing happened after that with 'Jenna' telling me that it was so important for me to have this astrology report done and to even have it done locally (which is one of the hooks). Finally, I gave in. Amazingly, I was one of the few people who did receive over 20 pages of a report and SO cleverly 'she' told me in it that I love to pass on information to other people (hmm? and I'm on this site! maybe it's all true!)....so I raved to friends to sign up.
Not so pleasant was the fact that she warned me that in 10 months time someone would approach me for money but to 'not be alarmed, your intuition will tell you what to do'. Jenna suggested I do on line gambling, the lottery, etc during a certain time period and then to do online dating vigorously during another time period (which ends today!) and to send out lots of emails to guys, not particularly thinking any of them could be 'the one' BUT that one person in particular would stand out - and very different from what I think I'm looking for. Any sites I was on - I've cancelled my memberships (and that's a story for the 2nd edition of GULLIBLES TRAVELS!).
Thankfully, a dear friend (thank God for you Jeanette) did decide to send for the free astrology report one Friday night - but the site wouldn't accept her details. Divine intervention?
We checked it out together the following day and shock horror it turned out that 'Jenna' is only a part of customer support and the About Astro's team's photo is so tiny you can't make out anyone's faces.
Then, and only then, did I google "Jenna, About Astro" and when I saw the results of that I had that horrible adrenalin fight/flight rush and felt really unwell.
After I cancelled my credit card (I was SO lucky it wasn't direct debit because 'she'd' taken extra money from some people's accounts....and I was worried about identity theft too) and took other steps I felt calmer. However, I was left with a violated feeling.
For days I walked around saying 'gullible, gullible, gullible'.....and then my sense of humour clicked in (I'm Scottish so we spell your American word humor with an extra 'u') and I thought I should start a blog or write an article called GULLIBLES TRAVELS.
So what do you think? Has this happened to you too?
And then yesterday....something else happened to me which will be the 2nd edition of this blog.
However, my intuition clicked in fairly quickly this time - and that's all we can do is keep tuning in, just as I hope you will 'tune in' here again.
Happy blogging to you all! I've never done this before but it was fun.
